Jose Davila-Velderrain

Jose Davila-Velderrain is a Mexican computational systems biologist interested in developing a deeper understanding of the diversity and dynamic behavior of human brain cells. After five years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Jose will be joining HT’s Neurogenomics Research Centre as a Group Leader in January 2022. His group will focus on studying the cellular complexity of the human brain in development and neurodegeneration by combining single-cell biology with computational and theoretical models.
