RNAscope™ 2.5 LS/Multiomic LS Assay on FFPE sections up to 3 plex

The RNAscope 2.5 LS Assay/RNAscope™ Multiomic LS Assay enables highly sensitive and specific detection of both RNA and protein targets within the same tissue section, with single-cell resolution.

Applications: This integrated pipeline supports quantitative spatial analysis of gene expression, making it ideal for applications in spatial biology:

  • Validation of new biomarkers on patient cohorts
  • Gene expression analysis for targets lacking validated antibodies (e.g. non-human samples)
  • Pathogen detection, including viral RNA
  • Co-expression studies of proteins and transcripts.

The staining process is fully automated on the Leica Bond RX platform, ensuring high reproducibility and consistent assay performance.

For image acquisition (optional, to be requested in the application), the workflow can be further streamlined through automation on the Zeiss Axioscan Z.1, allowing high-throughput digital scanning of stained slides. The image analysis can be done autonomously or provided as coupled service thanks to our Image Analysis unit of the National Facility for Data Handling and Analysis.
