Beyond cancer dependency maps: the PRECISE vision
PRECISE (Predictive Relationships Explaining Cancer Genetic Interactions and Synthetic Essentiality) is a pan-European initiative that aims to move cancer research beyond cataloguing cancer vulnerabilities towards predicting them before they are experimentally tested. Introducing Dollie LaJoie
Dollie LaJoie is a new Research Group Leader at Human Technopole, in the Molecular Cell Biology Research Centre. Her research explores how mutations in proteins can alter cell behaviour and contribute to human disease. By combining cell biology, biochemistry and crosslinking mass spectrometry, her Group will study diseases of the nuclear envelope and investigate the nucleus as a dynamic environment that responds to the specific needs of different cell types.

Meet Andrea Ganna, new Senior Group Leader in the Health Data Science Research Centre. His research integrates genetics, electronic health records, national health registries and population-scale biobanks to improve the early detection of common diseases and support more effective public health interventions.

Introducing Wolfram Pönisch
Human Technopole welcomes Wolfram Pönisch as a new Research Group Leader in the Computational Biology Research Centre – Biophysical Modelling and Simulations Programme. A theoretical physicist by training, Wolfram studies the stochastic morphodynamics of living systems: how cells and tissues change shape, fluctuate and use these dynamics to influence biological processes.
