Sara Terzoli

Sara obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from the University of Milan in 2020. She then spent a year at the Unit of Clinical and Experimental Immunology at IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital, where she completed a pre-doctoral fellowship.

In 2021, she began a PhD in Data Science in Medicine and Nutrition at Humanitas University, continuing her research in the same laboratory. Her work focuses on the analysis of single-cell transcriptomic and epigenomic data in the field of immunology. During her PhD, she also taught bioinformatics courses within the Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine programs.

In 2024, she joined Human Technopole as a Bioinformatics Scientist in the National Facility for Data Handling and Analysis, where she focuses on developing pipelines and applying computational methods for the analysis of large-scale omics data.
