Collaborative research platforms can serve as a bridge between research laboratories and the market, helping startups overcome the so-called “valley of death”. The HT Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer is pleased to present the new study, The Roadmap for a Collaborative Research Model between Academia and Industry in Italy, developed in collaboration with The European House – Ambrosetti and Federchimica Assobiotec.

The paper highlights the potential of public–private collaboration to foster technology transfer in the life sciences, outlining successful tools and opportunities at the European level and the importance of closer cooperation between the two spheres to unlock their full potential: on one side, the academic approach to research and the scientific knowledge of the public sector; on the other, the development and innovation capabilities of industry.

During the event, HT will also be pleased to present the National Facilities: shared, open-access, cutting-edge infrastructures for life sciences research, established to give the Italian scientific community access to advanced technologies in genomics, imaging, structural biology, disease modelling, and data analysis. In this context, we will discuss further developments and opportunities for collaboration with private stakeholders.

The event will be held in Italian.
