Description/Purpose:
Human Technopole (HT) is opening a call for sponsors to contribute to the BrainOmics course – single-cell multi-omics approaches and techniques in the nervous system that will take place on 18-22 November, 2024 at HT in Milan, Italy.
BrainOmics is a unique interdisciplinary computational course on single-cell multi-omics with a focus on the brain and its disorders. The course builds on the experience of the first 2022 edition that received extremely positive feedback from the community and proved to be a vibrant experience for participants, speakers, and trainers who joined from across the world.
The course will consist of on-site lectures, hands-on and project sessions, and networking activities. The 20 selected participants, who are expected to be mostly bioinformaticians and computational biologists, will have the opportunity to learn about single-cell multi-omics approaches from leaders in the field of brain disorders, together with ‘rising stars’ who will join the course as full-time instructors.
BrainOmics is part of our effort sto fulfil HT’s statutory mission to offer top-quality scientific training, and we aim at organising the course regularly, as a hallmark of HT’s commitment to training the next generation of neuroscientists.
This second edition of the BrainOmics course is the result of a collaboration among the Neurogenomics and Genomics Research Centres at Human Technopole and is organised by Piero Carninci, Head of Functional Genomics Research Centre and Research Group Leader, Cristina Cheroni, Senior Manager – Cell Reference Brain Atlas Scientific Service Unit, Ivano Legnini, Research Group Leader, Elena Taverna, Research Group Leader, and Giuseppe Testa, Head of Neurogenomics and Research Group Leader.
By providing your sponsorship to the BrainOmics course 2024, you will have the opportunity to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of single-cell omics in the brain while contributing to the training of future leaders on the field.

Sponsor’s requirements:
The Sponsors shall:
- Share HT’s vision of contributing to improving human health and well-being;
- Not be under proceedings linked to financial difficulties (e.g., insolvency/bankruptcy);
- Accept the placement of their logo together with other logos (co-sponsorships)
- Meet the general requirements set out in Article 94 of Italian Legislative Decree 36/2023

Evaluation Criteria:
- Coherence of the Sponsor with HT’s vision and mission
- Relevance of the Sponsor’s core business to the field of life sciences and/or technology development

- Visibility that the Sponsor can bring to the event
