Douglas Engelbart
Engineer and inventor
Douglas Engelbart was an American engineer and inventor. To him we owe the invention of the first mouse that he built using two metal wheels inserted inside the wooden structure to which, in turn, was connected a cable to which we owe the name “mouse”. Interested in computers, he was also the author of other discoveries. He is considered a pioneer of human-computer interaction.
