Carola Maria Conca Dioguardi

After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Milan, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Medical Biotechnology at San Raffaele University in Milan, spending one year at the Yale School of Medicine for her final thesis work. During her career, she developed a passion for medical genetics, leading her to deepen her knowledge through a 4-year specialty in medical genetics at the University of Milan.

Her career path began in the field of clinical embryology as a fellow at the Humanitas Institute, Milan. During her specialization training, Carola transitioned from research to diagnostics, working as a researcher at the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan, in various labs, furthermore she joined San Carlo Borromeo Hospital in the newly established Medical Genetics unit, where she has been collaborating on the introduction of new technologies and assisted in the management of daily clinical bureaucracy until she joined HT.
