Giulia Sabbatinelli
- Technician, National Facility for Genomics
I hold a PhD in Neuroscience and Imaging from the University of Chieti, where my research focused on prenatal genetics, following a Biotechnology degree from the University of Teramo.
I gained four years of experience at the Onco-Hematological Genetics Laboratory of the Civil Hospital of Pescara, where I developed expertise in classical and molecular cytogenetics. I then joined the Genomic Unit at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan as a Research Assistant, specializing in advanced technologies such as next-generation sequencing (NGS), single-cell analysis, and spatial transcriptomics. Subsequently, I worked as a Staff Scientist at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCSS in Rome, contributing to translational research in collaboration with the Spatial Multiplex Profiling Facility.
