Javier Cibella
- Technician, National Facility for Genomics
In 2006, I received my master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Milano-Bicocca. Following this, I had the opportunity to join the Humanitas Clinical Institute at the Department of Immunology and Inflammation. During those years I acquired knowledge, methods and protocols related to molecular and cellular biology; gaining strong experience in vivo, Screening/Genotyping of animal colonies, but especially pre – post PCR and Sanger Sequencing laboratory activities. In 2016 I had the opportunity to be part of the Humanitas Research Center Genomics and Sequencing Service Unit. During those years, I deepened specific knowledge of genomics and gained experience in the management and use of Next Generation Sequencing, Microarray and Single-cell sequencing technologies. I have a deep knowledge of the protocols for generating sequencing libraries also with automated workstations.
