Luigi Antonio Lamparelli
- Bioinformatician, National Facility for Genomics
I got my master’s degree in molecular biotechnology and bioinformatics at the University of Milan in 2019. During my thesis period I have participated to the Erasmus program at the Danish Technical University (DTU).
In the last 3 years I have been a bioinformatician at Humanitas Research Hospital in the Gastrointestinal immunopathology lab. I have also worked on IBDs and Crohn’s disease collaborating with the Experimental gastroenterology lab at San Raffaele hospital. In this period, I was in charge of developing and executing state-of-the-art bioinformatics pipelines for different kind of omics data, such as transcriptomics, epigenomics, genomics, metagenomics and lipidomics. I also developed and maintained interactive web apps for effective data and results visualization.
