Description/Purpose:

Human Technopole is looking for sponsors to contribute to the “HT PhD Students & Postdocs Symposium” that will take place on September 30^th, 2025 at Human Technopole in Milan, Italy.

Human Technopole is a young research institute founded with the mission to improve human health and well-being through cutting-edge and innovative research. In the last several years it has attracted around 500 researchers from all-over the world. Among them are over 150 PhD Students and Postdocs, spread across seven different research areas, with diverse but complementary research focus, methodologies, and scales of investigation: from the nanoscale to populations. Last year, the First “HT PhD & Postdoc Symposium” featured 7 talks, 48 poster presentations, and a total attendance of over 100 scientists, with the relevant participation of Ralf Dahm as Keynote Speaker of the event

This year, the event will include scientific talks, interactive Q&A sessions, and two poster sessions from early-career scientists, as well as a Keynote Lecture by Sir Prof. David Klenerman. Prof. David Klenerman is a biophysical chemist at the University of Cambridge, best known for his contributions to next-generation DNA sequencing. He co-developed the sequencing-by-synthesis technology, which led to the founding of Solexa, later acquired by Illumina. For this groundbreaking work, he was awarded the 2020 Millennium Technology Prize for its transformative impact on genomics, medicine, and biology.

The Symposium is a special event entirely organised by and for young researchers with the full support of the Human Technopole Faculty and its Director, Prof. Marino Zerial. This year’s Symposium, entitled “Research in Motion: dynamics in time, space and technology”, will continue the legacy of last year’s event, fostering a highly complementary and interdisciplinary environment by strengthening collaboration among research fields.

• Accept the placement of their logo together with other logos (co-sponsorships)
• Meet the general requirements set out in Article 94 of Italian Legislative Decree 36/2023
