Human Technopole wins 2024 Oscar di Bilancio
On Friday 13 December, at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, the Human Technopole Foundation’s ‘Integrated Report 2023’ received the Oscar di Bilancio in the social enterprises and non-profit organisations category. The award was presented to President Gianmario Verona, Elena Trovesi, Head of Administration, as well as the project leaders Giovanni Selmi, Head of Finance, and Alessandro Cavallari, Financial Reporting and Risk Management Manager.
The Oscar di Bilancio, which reached its 60th edition this year, recognised HT’s commitment to drafting the Integrated Report, a fundamental tool for transparent communication of the financial and non-financial performance of organisations, in the context of sustainable growth.
The document was awarded for its clear commitment to integrating both qualitative narrative and quantitative data (KPIs) in order to offer stakeholders a comprehensive overview of activities and their alignment with sustainable development goals.
Below are the motivations that led to the awarding of HT’s Integrated Report 2023:
“The Integrated Report 2023 in a structured and rigorous manner represents “accountability” in the transition of consolidating HT’s scientific and administrative infrastructure towards the goal of research excellence. The report is readable in its key information (both strategic and operational) even to non-experts. The effort to integrate qualitative narrative and quantitative data (KPIs) is evident, with the aim of providing all stakeholders with an overall picture of the activities, their nature, and the commitment to sustainable development. The 2023 results are described in a timely, comprehensive and transparent manner, testifying to the operational focus, in terms of effectiveness and efficiency, in internal management.”
The Oscar di Bilancio, awarded by FERPI with Borsa Italiana and Bocconi University, is one of the most prestigious awards in Italy for transparency and financial communication. Created in 1954 to assess corporate financial statements, today it also rewards sustainability, ESG criteria and social responsibility, reflecting the economic and social transformations of recent decades.
