Grace Hopper

Grace Hopper is an American mathematics and computer science famous for working on the first commercial electronic computer in history. In addition to working on digital computers for civilian use, she was engaged in standardizing the language for military computers. He introduced a term – “bug” – to indicate the malfunction of the machine, an expression that is used today by a lot of pepole. For her, people coined several nicknames: the most famous one is “Amazing Grace”; she was also called “computer queen” and “great software lady”.
