Andrea Callea

Andrea holds a degree in Law and a degree in Economics. He further deepened his studies at post-graduate level in both disciplines at the London School of Economics and Political Science (Economics and regulation) and the University La Sapienza of Rome (Business crisis law).
He is a lawyer with twenty years of experience who started his career as in-house counsel for commercial companies, part of publicly traded groups, and then continued as a private practice professional for over ten years.
He has been a consultant to central administrations, public and private bodies, national and multinational companies; he is qualified for legal aid, in every grade and jurisdiction.
Andrea previously followed the start-up and growth phase of a leading national scientific research institution. He remained so fascinated by the world of “laboratories, microscopes and experiments” to decide, without hesitation, to take part in the stimulating challenge of Human Technopole. He is excited to be able to contribute to the realization of a revolutionary project that puts life sciences at the center of a technological framework that will allow an improvement of quality of life, at individual and collective level.
In late July 2019, Andrea joined the Human Technopole team as General Counsel – Head of Legal Department, managing legal issues related to all operational activity of the Foundation, ensuring compliance and providing ongoing support to governance bodies and scientific and administrative departments
