Eugenio Fava

Dr. Eugenio Fava is an expert with a strong scientific and managerial career. He is currently the Head of Core Research Facilities and Services at Human Technopole in Milan, where he directs and coordinates the research infrastructure. Prior to this role, he held similar positions at the Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE) in Bonn for over a decade, managing significant personnel and budgets and fostering industrial collaborations. He also led a System Neurobiology research group at the DZNE, focusing on the role of neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Fava earned a Magna cum laude Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology from the University of Konstanz, Germany. His work has resulted in patent filings and numerous publications in international scientific journals.
