Eugenio Fava

Eugenio Fava is Head of Research Facilities and Services at Human Technopole, with strong experience in scientific infrastructure management as well as operational and strategic leadership. He currently oversees Human Technopole’s technology platforms and scientific infrastructures, contributing to the development of sustainable research ecosystems and to the institute’s operational excellence. He is a scientific and managerial leader who turns research infrastructures into real engines of innovation: he builds integrated ecosystems where cutting-edge science aligns with institutional goals, fosters strategic partnerships with industry, promotes the enhancement of technology transfer, empowers people through inclusive leadership, and drives change with vision and consistency.

For over a decade, he held executive roles at DZNE in Bonn, where he coordinated multidisciplinary teams, managed complex budgets, and promoted strategic collaborations with the industrial sector. In parallel, he led a research group in Systems Neurobiology, focusing on neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative diseases.

He holds a PhD in Molecular Toxicology from the University of Konstanz in Germany and has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
