Milan, 18 February – Weeks full of events for our scientists.Yesterday Francesco Iorio – Group Leader of the Centre for Computational Biology – attended a CEINGE seminar, where he talked about the identification of new oncological targets obtained through the integration of CRISPR screens & big data and his future activity in Human Technopole.
Alessandro Vannini – Head of the Centre for Structural Biology – was at Francis Crick Institute where he held a seminar on RNA polymerase III; at the meeting of the Structural Biology Italian Network Instruct-ITALIA, he explained how to study the transcription of class III genes and the role in structural and functional organization.

HT researchers are part of an international team of scientists that discovered genetic clues to the cause of restless leg syndrome, a condition common among older adults. The finding could help identify those individuals at greatest risk of the condition and point to potential ways to treat it.
