The EU Startup and Scaleup Strategy will be one of the first acts adopted by the new EU Commission in 2025 to respond to critical issues in the innovation and technology transfer system highlighted by the Letta and Draghi reports. The EU is called upon to adopt a strategic plan to make the innovation ecosystem more attractive by fostering the development of initiatives to boost knowledge and global competitiveness and strengthening the EU as a hub of excellence for innovation and entrepreneurship.
In this context, the financing of technology start-ups, as well as strategies to attract and retain talent, will be at the center of the debate with experts, institutional representatives, and business actors in the workshop organised by the HT Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer and promoted by FITT – Fondazione Innovazione e Trasferimento Tecnologico, scheduled for May 9 at MIND’s Social Innovation Academy.
The event, organized as part of MIND Innovation Week, is primarily aimed at technology and knowledge transfer officers, business development managers, and innovation and research valorization experts from Italian universities, research hospitals, and research centers to provide an overview of European tools and opportunities to support research, knowledge valorisation, and innovation, with a focus on policy, national perspectives, and strategic directions. The event is also open to MINDers and other representatives of the innovation sector, for a total of 30-40 participants.
Please note that the workshop will be held in Italian.
