The new edition of the Milan RNA Salon is now on! Thanks to the support of the RNA Society and Lexogen, our network of research groups, currently comprising 28 laboratories from 12 institutions in the Milan area, will gather together to discuss the future of RNA biology.
The Kick-off meeting will be held on 14 November 2025 at the National Institute for Molecular Genetics (INGM), involving several scientists (i.e. group leaders, postdocs, PhD students, interns). In total, 6 events are planned till July 2026.
The Network
The Milan RNA Salon is a network of research groups sharing a strong interest in different aspects of RNA biology, comprising 28 laboratories from 12 institutions in the Milan area.
We believe the future of RNA biology lies in the ability of crossing discipline boundaries, bridging physical scales and providing new theoretical, quantitative interpretations of complex biological data. With this initiative, we aim to create a venue especially for young scientists to shape and materialize this vision.
Our Salon is transformative for the RNA community in Milan: it promotes engagement and interactions among RNA scientists, creates a sense of community, stimulates new ideas and leads to new joint grant applications and publications. It further creates a regular networking ecosystem to provide feedback, share protocols and equipment, and promote new job opportunities for young trainees.
Sponsored by the RNA society and Lexogen
