Francesca is a Scientific Software and Web Developer with an interdisciplinary background that combines molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, and modern web development. She develops digital tools to support data handling, visualization, and analysis for life science research.
She holds a PhD in Chemistry and Molecular Biology, awarded as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship programme. After completing her scientific training, she transitioned into software development, completing a full-stack coding programme and gaining practical experience as a Front-End Developer at Accenture, where she focused on scalable, data-driven applications using React and TypeScript.
Francesca joined Human Technopole in 2025 as part of the National Facility for Data Handling and Analysis, contributing to the development of open, accessible software to support biomedical research.
