HT Research Ethics Committee: open call for external members
The Research Ethics Committee (REC) of the Human Technopole Foundation is responsible for evaluating scientific research projects and activities undertaken at Human Technopole (HT) so that they are ethically reviewed, cleared and monitored in accordance with national and international ethical laws, norms, principles, guidelines, standards and best practices regulating scientific research.
The REC is composed of an odd number of members, from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 11 members, the majority of which should be external to HT. Committee members shall be appointed by HT’s Management Committee and shall possess a recognised expertise in ethics or other knowledge domains relevant to the mission of HT and the tasks of the REC. The term of office of each REC member is four years, renewable once.
A call is currently open to select the external members of HT’s Research Ethics Committee. Further information is available in the Annexes below.
Interested candidates should send in their application, as described in Annex 1, by 5pm on 25 August 2023 by PEC at htechnopole@pec.fondazioneht.it digitally signed or, if not digitally signed, attaching a copy of a valid identity document.

First Marie Curie Fellowships for Human Technopole
Two Human Technopole researchers have been awarded the Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship, one of the most prestigious fellowships for early career researchers: Dr. Carlos Jiménez and Dr. Albert Navarro Gallinad. Dr. Navarro Gallinad’s research project, presented today on National Women’s Health Day, will investigate the environmental risks faced by pregnant women by analysing almost 1,000,000 births in Lombardy over the last twelve years. Human Technopole Celebrates its First PhDs
