President Marco Simoni and Prof. Piero Carninci talks about the COVID19 situation
The President Marco Simoni and Prof. Piero Carnici (advisor, Research Centre for Genomics) were among the protagonists of the project #Today4Tomorrow and shared their ideas on COVID19.
The President underlined the role of research, technology, and the spirit of cooperation to overcome the crisis; Prof. Carnici told how Japan is facing the emergency and emphasized the “globalization of science”.

From RNA to proteins: AIRC supports Human Technopole’s new approaches to cancer research
Lorenzo Calviello and his group of the Human Technopole’s Research Centres for Genomics and Computational Biology have been awarded a five-year My First AIRC Grant by Fondazione AIRC per la Ricerca sul Cancro. The grant provides over €99,000 for 2026, for a total of €500,000, to support a project aimed at identifying cancer-specific proteins that could serve as new immunotherapy targets in colorectal cancer.
