Date: 15/04/2025
Target Audience: Master’s Students & Graduates who are considering pursuing a PhD in life sciences
Join us on 15 April for the PhD Open Day at Human Technopole, an exciting opportunity to explore PhD research and training in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment in a cosmopolitan and vibrant city. Held online via Zoom, the event (from 9 to 13) will introduce you to Human Technopole’s cutting-edge research fields and National Facilities and provide insights into PhD life and training.
The program features scientific presentations by Human Technopole Group Leaders, giving you a glimpse into ongoing research and their vision for future PhD Students in their groups. Whether you’re interested in biomedical sciences, physics, mathematics, or computational biology, this event is designed to help you discover how your skills and perspective can contribute to groundbreaking research and become an independent leader in biomedical research.
TARGET
This event is aimed at Italian and international Master’s Students & Graduates who are considering pursuing a PhD.
We are looking for candidates coming from diverse scientific backgrounds, spanning not only life sciences—such as genomics, neurobiology, genetics, immunology, structural biology, molecular cell biology, biophysics and modelling, machine learning, computational biology and health data science—but also physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering. We seek individuals who bring alternative perspectives and innovative methodologies to tackle complex biological problems and challenge current knowledge. Researchers with expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, computational physics, and quantitative approaches can offer fresh solutions to challenges in genomics, structural biology, and systems biology. By integrating different scientific disciplines, we aim to push the boundaries of biomedical research, fostering a collaborative environment where interdisciplinary thinking leads to groundbreaking discoveries.
